Experience no. 1
Stand in the nearby rainforest surrounded by the sounds of some of the most unusual creatures on earth and look up over the crowns of the trees. A misty spray rises mythically from the gorge beyond, like clouds coming down to earth. These are the first signs of the Victoria Falls, named by Kololo locals as 'The Smoke That Thunders', and such is their power that they can be seen up to 20km away.
Located between Zambia and Zimbabwe, in Livingstone, the width of 1,700m makes it the largest waterfall in the world. A sight not to be missed.
